Sculptures in wood and ceramic

Having trained at Chelsea School of Art I pursued a career in Retail Design.

Since retiring in 2019 I have had more time to follow my lifelong passion for creating sculptures.

I work in wood and more recently ceramic at the Attenborough Arts Centre. I like to experiment by creating forms in various finishes, shapes and subject matter, with all the challenges that this brings, in search of new ways to create new and interesting sculptures. In particular I like free flowing forms to help emphasize the rhythm and harmony of each sculpture.

I also enjoy making heads / busts of well-known people and  of family members and I am open to taking commissions especially for this type of work.
